When a student is absent, they have three (3) school days after their return to submit an absence note.  

There are two ways to submit an absence note:

  1. Physical absence notes can be handed in at grade level centers. 
  2. Absence notes can be submitted electronically using the appropriate grade level email address below:

9th Grade: 9udhs-attendance@upperdarbysd.org
10th Grade: 10udhs-attendance@upperdarbysd.org
11th Grade: 11udhs-attendance@upperdarbysd.org
12th Grade: 12udhs-attendance@upperdarbysd.org

If your son or daughter has been absent more than 10 days, UDSD requires that a parent/guardian fill out the Explanation of Absence Letter and Form. It should be emailed to the appropriate grade level email address above. Click the button below view and download the form:
